Optimal Control of Centralized Thermoelectric Generation System under Nonuniform Temperature Distribution Using Barnacles Mating Optimization Algorithm

The need for renewable energy resources is ever-increasing due to the concern environmental issues associated with fossil fuels. Low-cost high-power-density manufacturing techniques thermoelectric generators (TEG) have added technoeconomic feasibility of TEG systems as an effective power generation system in heat recovery, cooling, electricity, and engine-efficiency applications. environment-dependent factors such nonuniform distribution heat, damage heat-transfer coating between sinks sources, mechanical faults create current impedance mismatch causing loss. As a solution this nonlinear multisolution problem, improved MPPT control presented, which utilizes improvised barnacle mating optimization (BMO). case studies are formulated gauge performance proposed BMP under temperature distribution. results compared grey wolf (GWO), particle swarm (PSO), cuckoo search (CS) algorithm. Faster global maximum point tracking (GMPP) within 381 ms, higher efficiency up 99.93%, least oscillation ?0.8 W achieved by BMO highest harvest on average. statistical analysis further solidifies better controller root mean square error (RMSE), RE, SR.
